The Monaco Grand Prix

Alonso qualified second on Saturday but was promoted to pole position due to the incident involving Michael Schumacher.Michael had to start from the pit lane on race day.Kimi was really quick at the start of the race and a lot of us might thought,"Finally,we got to see Kimi again on the podium".But like they said,it is easier to lose in Monaco than to win.

It was a total disappointment for both Mark Webber and Kimi as they were not able to finish the race.One felt sorry for Kimi as the camera focused on him walking back to his team.After that,we got excited when we saw Trulli going for the third place.Then...his car also retired.

So,Alonso got his first win in Monaco.2nd place,Montoya and 3rd place,David Coulthard.It is also the first podium win for Coulthard and Red Bull for this season.

Taylor Hicks is the Winner!!

Congratulations,Taylor! At last,we have a male Idol after Ruben.Taylor is indeed different from the previous Idols.He did a great job for this season and I believe he will have a successful career ahead.

I watched the last episode of "The Mischievous Princess" on Tuesday.I must said that Si Tu Jing (Jang Na Ra) was very lucky to be loved by two guys at the same time.Two good guys! Just like in "Sweet Home Alabama".We knew that she and the emperor (Alec Su) make a perfect couple.But...it keeps me wondering.He has so many wives already and we cannot blame him because he is the King! Will he still love Jing after 10 years or so?

There was a time when I hoped that she would choose Bai Yun Fei instead.I was moved by his words in one of the episodes,"I only want Si Tu Jing to be my wife.I just want her!"Fei said that the King could have any woman he wanted but he just had to compete with him for the only girl he loved.

But I believe that the King's love for her is sincere and true.He was ready to give up his role just to be with her. Aww...isn't that sweet!

The ending was a happy one with Jing becoming the Queen and gave birth to a pair of twins (a girl and a boy). As for Bai Yun Fei,he married Princess An Ling and they were indeed a very happy couple too.

It's The Grand Finale Next Week!

It is Taylor vs Katharine! Who do you think will be crowned the fifth American Idol? "TAYLOR!" Well,I do hope so ^_^ But Katharine is one hard gal to beat...she has the talent and the looks, just like Carrie Underwood.It's been a year already? I bet most of you still remember the exciting Carrie vs Bo's finals last year.

Alonso's Historic Win in Spain

Alonso became the first Spaniard to win his home race on Sunday.The whole country of Spain celebrated his victory and they were proud of him.The crowd was there to support him and he certainly enjoyed every single lap on the track.He took lead from pole position and his speed was consistent lap after lap.Schumacher just wasn't able to catch up with him.At the end of the race,Alonso was 18.5 seconds faster than Schumacher.

Kimi who qualified 9th on Saturday,managed to make his way up to the fifth spot at the start of the race,passing 2 Hondas and Toyotas.And isn't that remarkable? But this is Kimi Raikkonen we are talking about,the man who won last year's Spanish Grand Prix.

Taylor Hicks is in Top 3!

Wow! And what did I say? The grand finale is in this month itself and I am pretty sure at this point that Taylor will make it.He is the crowd's favourite and we all enjoy his performances,don't we? So Taylor, good luck to you and we will be waiting for your album ^_^

Another Victory for Michael Schumacher

Schumacher got another win for this season and he is now 8 points ahead of Kimi.Maybe racing in one's own country does has its advantages.Alonso was clearly disappointed after the race.The speed was there and it was down to who got the best strategy to win.

Jenson Button's car broke down at Lap 28.Montoya and Ralf Schumacher retired almost on the same time.As for Nico Rosberg,he did extremely well despite starting last on the grid.He managed to be in the 7th place,one place behind Fisichella.

The race will be in Spain this weekend and I hope that Alonso will win the race in his country just like Schumacher did this time round.
