Jamie Oliver,The Celebrity Chef

Have you ever dreamt of being a chef? Or more specifically, dreaming to be Jamie Oliver? He got his own TV shows and has already published a few books. He is now the most envied celebrity in London, according to a recent survey.Personally,I am not a big fan of cooking shows. But I must admit that I enjoy Jamie's shows. He is so swift and the way he cooks seemed so effortless.Every dish is just simple and healthy...not too much of fancy stuffs.

Catch him in action every Tuesday,9.30 PM in "Oliver's Twist".Only on 8TV.

YUMMY YUMMY

The leading men of Yummy Yummy,Raymond Lam and Kevin Cheng.Met them in person
during their promotional trip to Malaysia in June 2005

The cast of Yummy Yummy.Don't they look happy?

Been busy for the past few days.Like promised, here is the post about Michael Tong. You can now catch him in action on TV3 and 8TV. "The W-Files" at 5.32PM (TV3) and "The Trust of A Lifetime" at 7 PM (8TV).
Michael Tong as Chor Seng Heng in Perish In The Name Of Love

Most of the time,we saw him acting in the second male lead and the guy who never gets the girl he loved. But his characters are so lovable and left a lasting impression.

I think he did a fabulous job in "Perish in the Name of Love", co-starring with Charmaine Sheh and Steven Ma.He is so funny at times, you just can't wait for him to appear on screen. But one thing that he is totally serious about is his love for Cheung Ping. But like we all know the story,Cheung Ping is meant to be with Chow Sai Hin.

The first drama series I saw him in was "Kung Fu Master".The first thought that came to mind was " Hey,who is this handsome guy?" Then,I went to the net and find out that his name was Michael Tong Man Lung.

I bet Michael has a lot of fans out there, just like Raymond. With his great acting,I believe he will get more chances to lead in the near future.

Before my post on Michael Tong, I would like to write about the F1 Grand Prix yesterday in China. It is official.Alonso and Renault are the champions for this season.Congratulations!! Kimi
was able to make it to the podium in second place. Most of the time, when Alonso got the pole position,he will lead from start to finish. That's what happened yesterday....at one point,he had a
20-second lead!!

Both Kimi and Alonso got 7 wins this year.Michael Schumacher on the other hand, is no.3,a few points ahead of Montoya.

New rules and regulations will be imposed next year.We will have to wait and see who will rule next season.Until then, all the drivers should be given a pat on the back for making this season such a memorable one for all the F1 fans.

The Boy-Next-Door
vs
The Handsome Hero

Either way,he is still my favourite TVB actor.Raymond Lam Fung has been in the showbiz for about 6 years now and his fanbase is growing.New actors have been emerging in TVB but I think Ray is the frontrunner. From the naive kid,Oscar in Golden Faith to the mature lawyer,
Ben in Survivor's Law,Ray proved that he is indeed a talented actor. He can blend into any kind of character really well.

Besides acting,he also sang the theme and sub-theme songs for the series he acted in.One of my favourite is the sub-theme of Eternal Happiness. But one has to admit that he looks more handsome in ancient series....with long hair!! Like in Lofty Waters Verdant Bow.

Great friends with Ron Ng,another popular actor in TVB.

Coming up in my next post.....Michael Tong.

What A Race !

The race in Suzuka,Japan was nothing short of excitement.First,
you saw Ralf Schumacher leading, then Fisichella. There was one
moment where I wondered if Jenson Button would win this
race.

But the most exciting part was watching Michael,Alonso and Kimi
racing against each other. The Top 3 racers for this season. The
camera was focusing on them most of the time.Alonso overtook
Michael not once but twice.

Finally, the last lap.....we were pretty sure that Fisichella would
win but Kimi overtook him at the last possible moment! So, Kimi
deserved the well-earned victory.Bravo to both Alonso and Kimi,
who were able to make it to the podium even though they started
out from behind the grid.

The coming race in China will be a nail-biting one. Will it be
Renault? Will it be McLaren? Stay tune this weekend!!

Heading for Japan!

Although Alonso is already the youngest champion for this season,
the race in Japan is still important for both Renault
and McLaren-Mercedes.

I must say that Alonso is an impressive driver. At the start
of this season,I(perhaps many of us)was sure that
Michael Schumacher would garner the most points.
But...then something happened.Alonso was getting
pole positions and was a regular in the podium.
It was a pretty exciting year...everyone was glued to
their TV sets(especially in Spain) during the races.

It was a dream come true for Alonso,a humble and shy boy from
Spain who becomes the hero of his country.
